About the Author
Carla Chatman is a retired Air Force Veteran that resides in Fort Worth Texas. As a church leader and part of Big Brothers Big Sisters, she taught young ladies to trust God and build self-esteem. As a confidant, she learned the tools that helped change the lives of many Christian teenagers as they waited on God to do things both at school and home. Chatman used some of those same strategies while serving in the military.
Chatman was born in Missouri and travelled with her father who was in the Air Force. She started her writing in junior high school and continued throughout the years writing mostly poetry. She joined the Air Force in 1985 and served for 28 years before retiring. Chatman has two sons and one grandson. When not volunteering, Chatman enjoys journaling and walks on the beach.
